Joe Biden will be the next President of the United States, but control of Congress still hangs in the balance, and won’t be decided until January. In anticipation of a “blue wave”, many planners have been expecting potentially significant changes to the tax law, perhaps effective as early as January 2021. While dramatic and immediate change now appears less likely (regardless of the outcome of the Georgia special elections), there are still a number of things that donors need to consider in deciding whether and how much to give before 2020 comes to a close. Nancy and Brad will provide insight into how donors are looking at their estate planning and charitable giving in light of current circumstances.
