Hemenway & Barnes Bolsters Administrative Team with Strategic Hires

Hemenway & Barnes LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of three senior administrative team members as part of its ongoing strategic initiative to enhance operational efficiency and client service.

Robert Mueller joins as Senior Director of Operations, Laura Naylor as Senior Director of Client Experience, and Sara “Sally” Walker as Director of Risk Management. Their collective expertise and leadership in these new roles will be instrumental in fostering collaboration, leveraging technology, and optimizing operations.

Robert Mueller is the Senior Director of Operations at Hemenway & Barnes. In this role, Robert is responsible for the firm’s fiduciary and family office functions. He works closely with firm management to coordinate operational activities.. Robert has over three decades of experience managing operations for organizations providing fiduciary accounting, family office and wealth administration services to high/ultra-high net-worth clients. At Hemenway & Barnes, he leads a multi-disciplinary team of professionals from the Family Office, Philanthropic Services, Trust Administration, Tax, and Trust Operations departments with a focus on creating efficiency, utilizing technology, and enhancing client service. Laura Naylor is the Senior Director of Client Experience at Hemenway & Barnes. She works closely with firm management and partners to foster meaningful and lasting relationships with clients. With a focus on enhancing the client experience, Laura develops and implements client service and practice innovation initiatives. Laura is experienced at building and leading high-performing teams and managing executive relationships for global client engagements. At Hemenway & Barnes, she leads cross-departmental teams and directs the firm’s business development, and marketing and communications efforts. Laura has an MBA from Columbia Business School. Sara “Sally” Walker is the Director of Risk Management at Hemenway & Barnes. Sally plays a pivotal role in safeguarding both the firm's and our clients’ interests. Working closely with the Risk Management Committee and firm leaders, Sally is responsible for the design and implementation of operational risk control strategies, systems, and training. Her extensive expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks enables the firm to navigate complex legal matters, client relationships, and business operations with confidence. Sally is a seasoned business leader with 20+ years of experience in the healthcare industry. She received her JD from Boston College Law School. Read more
