Nancy Dempze Named Manomet Board Chair

Nancy E. Dempze was recently appointed Chair of the Board of Trustees for Manomet, a nonprofit committed to applying science and engaging people and businesses to sustain our planet. Nancy has been a member of the Manomet board since 2012 and served as Vice Chair for the past year. In an announcement by the organization, John Hagan, president of Manomet said, “Nancy believes in putting science to use, and her “can-do” attitude is an inspiration to the board and staff alike.”

A partner at Hemenway & Barnes, Nancy serves as a professional trustee, executor and estate planner and also represents nonprofits in connection with planned giving and development. With her legal background, experience in nonprofit fundraising, and leadership in land conservation, Nancy is eager to help Manomet further it’s mission.
